type='text'>Forcing the Pace …</title><content type='html'>It’s dawn without a switch&lt;br /&gt;Never jealous of, but vexed at the rich.&lt;br /&gt;In the mirror, I see my face&lt;br /&gt;with anguish causing it to deface&lt;br /&gt;Keeping the pace is no news&lt;br /&gt;Let’s face it, situations-&lt;br /&gt;sure can stand the pace&lt;br /&gt;always up with a lark to show my pace, yet-&lt;br /&gt;it's unhinging relic creates funeral panic.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The pace of life and change is very fast and fierce&lt;br /&gt;while steady pace lays the poor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Call it the end time&lt;br /&gt;war and riots,&lt;br /&gt;with a sister in between, Terra&lt;br /&gt; resulting in the release of delta forces.&lt;br /&gt;Gale forces merging into hurricanes&lt;br /&gt;Amateur teenage girls turning mothers,&lt;br /&gt;bearing like birds, mostly premature.&lt;br /&gt;What more can I say&lt;br /&gt;but for you to fill out the space....&lt;br type='text'>The Epitaph</title><content type='html'>I vividly remember&lt;br /&gt;It was on the twenty fifth of October&lt;br /&gt;On a bright Saturday morning&lt;br /&gt;When the sun had just started shinning&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Two friends came to Lekki beach&lt;br /&gt;How I wish………………………&lt;br /&gt;They played soccer and swam on the sea shore&lt;br /&gt;They had fun and begged for more&lt;br /&gt;Soon the waves came and took one away&lt;br /&gt;His friend confused with nothing to say&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;His friend tried to rescue&lt;br /&gt;Only if he had a clue…………………..&lt;br /&gt;His friend went after&lt;br /&gt;But they both drowned thereafter&lt;br /&gt;They only came to have fun&lt;br /&gt;But they will never see the sun&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He only wanted to help his friend&lt;br /&gt;But today they met their end&lt;br /&gt;On Sunday morning the sea brought back one body&lt;br /&gt;Everybody crying, friends and family&lt;br /&gt;His body was laid to the type='text'>A dead man in Oshodi</title><content type='html'>I saw a dead man In Oshodi&lt;br /&gt;He was lying on the street dead&lt;br /&gt;Yet nobody cared&lt;br /&gt;His body was decaying&lt;br /&gt;His eyes were budging&lt;br /&gt;Yet nobody cared&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The lawyers passed by&lt;br /&gt;The soldiers walked by&lt;br /&gt;The policemen passed by&lt;br /&gt;The traders strolled by&lt;br /&gt;Yet nobody cared&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The politicians passed by with sirens&lt;br /&gt;The clergy men passed by too&lt;br /&gt;The kids were too scared to look&lt;br /&gt;The ladies wanted to puke&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;saw a dead man In Oshodi&lt;br /&gt;Worms were dinning all over his body&lt;br /&gt;The dead man was help less&lt;br /&gt;Yet everybody cared less&lt;br /&gt;His corpse was stinking&lt;br /&gt;The maggots were dancing&lt;br /&gt;The flies were rejoicing&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The professors passed by too&lt;br /&gt;It was there I saw it too&lt;br /&gt;He was dead Yet nobody cared&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By night the vultures came&lt;br /&gt;And the dead man became their game&lt;br /&gt;Still nobody cared&lt;br /&gt;I saw a dead man I oshodi&lt;br /&gt;Yet type='text'>The African dream</title><content type='html'>As the African soil once again become fertile&lt;br /&gt;They shall all return home&lt;br /&gt;’ Cos African streets will be flowered with petals&lt;br /&gt;Yes; from Asia, from America, London and Rome&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All shall prepare their bag gages and sail down to the mother land&lt;br /&gt;Africa shall stand up like a full grown man&lt;br /&gt;Civilization will return to were it started&lt;br /&gt;Too long we fought; now we are scattered&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Too long we abandoned this place&lt;br /&gt;Too long, too long; now our tribe is a disgrace&lt;br /&gt;Too long we dwelled in foreign city&lt;br /&gt;Our land is green and our maidens pretty&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;From east to west, from north to south&lt;br /&gt;Believe the African dream; throw away your doubt&lt;br /&gt;Too long we hid at the white man’s mercy&lt;br /&gt;The moon is bright; the mood is frenzy&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember how sweet we sound the African rhythm&lt;br /&gt;The young don’t even remember the sweet melody&lt;br /&gt;But from chars we rise to classic&lt;br /&gt;Africa is our matrix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By;Egoh
